Thomas Vogel studied Economic Science and Politics at the University of Basel and has a Federal Licence in Organisation and Project Management in Switzerland.

He started his career at Swiss Bank Corporation (today UBS) in Basel and Geneva and then moved then to Bank Edouard Constant in Geneva in charge of Projects and Business Development. He has been an Executive Director at Bank Julius Baer in Geneva and Singapore from 2000 to 2011 where he was in charge of the External Asset Manager Department and the International Private Banking team. He opened and lead the Wealth Management Representation Office in Nigeria for UBS from 2013 to 2016 where he was also member of the UBS Africa Management Committee. He is on the AFG Board since June 2016 and is today an independent Advisor and Business Developer. Thomas Vogel is a Swiss citizen living in Geneva.
